sh1ro ranked 3rd in HLTV's Best Players of 2022
The authoritative portal HLTV has presented the name of an esportsman who deserved to take third place in the list of the best players of the past season. According to the editors, it turned out to be sh1ro, the main star of the current Cloud9 roster.
According to the results of the past year, sh1ro became the best player in Funspark ULTI 2021 Finals, and was also recognized by EVP for his performances at Roobet Cup 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 16.
This is the second entry into the list of the best players of the year for the young sniper, who is in fourth place in 2021.
In 2022, the 21-year-old sharpshooter only improved his game in big championships and began to appear more often in the playoffs. In particular, sh1ro managed to win at Funspark ULTI 2021 and Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Dallas, as well as get into the top three at PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR B, Roobet Cup 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 16, and also reached the quarterfinals of Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022.
Given the strong results and stable performance throughout the season, sh1ro deservedly made it to the top three players in 2022. Most importantly, he managed to become the leader of his team in important matches, which was not observed before. Moreover, Cloud9 appeared much more often in the playoffs of the big championships, where the 21-year-old remained the main striker of the team.
