Why frozen Made the HLTV Top 20 in 2025

Last year, frozen placed 10th. Although FaZe Clan did not achieve major titles in 2025, the team consistently competed at top-tier tournaments. Their best results included 3rd place finishes at PGL Bucharest 2025 and BLAST Open Fall 2025, while PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 and ESL Pro League Season 22 ended with FaZe finishing in 4th place.

The real surprise came at the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025. FaZe Clan were one match away from elimination in the opening stage, but managed to regroup and make an impressive run all the way to the grand final, where they lost to Vitality and secured 2nd place. Frozen himself ended the Major with an average 1.21 rating, which is a very solid individual performance.

frozen 2025 Performance Summary

Over the course of the season, he played 195 maps, averaging 81 ADR, 75% KAST, and a 1.17 rating. Against the very best, his numbers were even more impressive: a 1.20 rating vs top-5 teams and 1.13 vs top-10 teams.

In addition, frozen earned four EVP awards at the following events: PGL Cluj-Napoca, ESL Pro League Season 22, PGL Bucharest, and the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025.
