BLAST presented the calendar of CS:GO competitions for 2023
Tournament operator BLAST has presented the official calendar of its CS:GO competitions for 2023. The organizers will hold seven major championships, as well as a total of 14 regional qualifiers for the spring and autumn seasons. At the same time, BLAST events will both open and close the competitive season as a whole.
We're excited about what's in store for the BLAST Premier 2023 season in its fourth year. 2023 will be the second year in a row that we will host all of our finals in packed arenas at top venues around the world. We are excited to deliver another 12 months of next-level entertainment and continue the success of last year's events in Lisbon, Copenhagen and Abu Dhabi.
The organizers have not yet revealed the venues for their six events, while BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023 will be held in a studio format in Copenhagen.

Season format
The general format of the BLAST Premier season will remain unchanged. As part of Spring Groups and Fall Groups, partner teams will participate - Astralis, BIG, Complexity Gaming, Evil Geniuses, Faze Clan, G2 Esports, Heroic, Team Liquid, NAVI, Ninjas in Pajamas, OG and Team Vitality.
The top teams from the Spring Groups and Fall Groups will go directly to the Spring Finals and Fall Finals respectively, while the other six teams will go to the Showdown. Here they will meet with participants who will pass the regional qualifiers in six and eight regions (depending on the calendar season).
Regional qualifiers for the spring season will be held in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, North America, South America and Asia. The fall season qualifiers will take place in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, North America, South America, China, Oceania and the Middle East.
At the end of the season, the winners of Spring Finals, Fall Finals and third-party major tournaments (BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, Valve Fall Major, ESL Pro League Season 17 and ESL Pro League Season 18) will receive tickets to BLAST Premier World Final 2023. The best teams from the ranking table.
