hooch stepped down as head coach of Entropiq and became a free agent
Czech esports organization Entropiq has announced the end of the contract with head coach hooch. Recall that the 35-year-old Russian specialist led the team for a year and a half, but at the end of last year the squad was transferred to inactive.
Today our journey ends with hooch. Dmitry was one of the most important people in our history in CS:GO, a person who will forever remain our friend. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
hooch joined Entropiq in May 2021 when the Czech club signed the promising EPG Family. Over the next year and a half, the team became the winner of Funspark ULTI 2021: Europe Season 2, European Development Championship Season 4, Malta Vibes Knockout Series #1, Pinnacle Fall Series #2 and CCT North Europe Series #1, and also made it to the top three at the Elisa Invitational Summer 2021, REPUBLEAGUE Season 2, V4 Future Sports Festival - Budapest 2021, ESEA Season 39: Premier Division - Europe, Thunderpick Bitcoin Series #1 and ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022.
However, last fall, Entropiq decided to say goodbye to the roster due to poor results and difficulties in doing business with a team from Russia. Since then, hooch has remained in the shadow of his main work.
According to rumors, the 35-year-old Russian specialist will lead the new BetBoom Team project. However, the club is currently having trouble finding players for its squad, so the announcement may be delayed indefinitely. In turn, the Entropiq organization has not yet presented the future of its division, which has three active roster.
