Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 Release Date and Beta Test Revealed
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 arrives in November 2025, and Activision has already begun laying out what players can expect. The game continues directly after Black Ops 6 and moves the story forward into 2035 with David Mason leading the charge. Campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies all return, each with some new twists. Players won’t have to wait long for more details, as the Call of Duty: Next showcase at the end of September promises a deeper look at live gameplay.
Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Release Date
The release date of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, November 14, 2025, was confirmed during Gamescom 2025, alongside new trailers and gameplay details. Activision used the show to spotlight David Mason’s return, highlight futuristic weapons and robots, and tease the campaign’s globe-spanning missions. Zombies and multiplayer were also mentioned, with promises of more in-depth reveals at Call of Duty: Next on September 30. The Gamescom Opening Night Live also featured a look at other big titles, but Black Ops 7’s announcement stood out with its mix of familiar characters and bold new mechanics.
Beta Test
Players eager to try the game ahead of launch will get the chance through an open beta. Running from October 2 to October 8, the test will be available to those who preorder the game or hold an active Xbox Game Pass subscription. This beta will focus on multiplayer and give players a first real feel of the Overclock system, new maps, and the overall balance. Following tradition, it will act as both a stress test for servers and a showcase of what’s new before the November launch.

Multiplayer brings 16 core maps, 20v20 Skirmish battles, and the new Overclock system for equipment and scorestreaks. Zombies expands with large-scale maps, smaller survival arenas, and a new Dead Ops Arcade entry. Preorders come with bonuses, including a Reznov operator bundle, and the game supports the Carry Forward system from Black Ops 6.
