Some players managed to gain early access to the content of the upcoming beta version of the game even before its official announcement. This information came to light following the preloading of the game.

Activision has planned an in-depth presentation of Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer mode at today's Call of Duty Next event, commencing at 9:00 PT/ 12:00 ET/ 17:00 BST.
The first of two weekends for the Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer beta will kick off tomorrow and will be exclusively available on PS4 and PS5 consoles.
Modern Warfare 3 will feature updated versions of all 16 maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 released in 2009. Five of these maps (Favela, Skidrow, Rust, Estate, and Highrise) will be accessible in the beta, along with new Ground War modes.
During the second weekend of beta testing, cross-play support will be available between PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
The Call of Duty Next event broadcast will also introduce the Zombies mode from Modern Warfare 3, a new map for Call of Duty Warzone, and a version of Call of Duty: Warzone designed for mobile devices.
As a reminder, the release date for Modern Warfare 3 is set for November 10, 2023. This game serves as a direct sequel to the popular Modern Warfare 2, with development led by Sledgehammer and Infinity Ward studios, and Treyarch overseeing the Zombies mode.
In an interview published this week, Activision's President, Rob Kostich, confirmed that the company has plans for Call of Duty games extending up to 2027, with over 3,000 developers currently involved in the franchise.
