Call of Duty: Mobile Season 3 “Paranoia” Launches With New Mode, Events, and Major Collaborations
Call of Duty: Mobile has officially revealed Season 3: Paranoia, bringing a darker and more chaotic atmosphere to the game when it launches on March 18, 2026. The new season introduces several gameplay additions, including the DMZ: Recon Quick Play mode, a new MX Guardian shotgun, and the Tactical Mirror Battle Royale class, which allows players to duplicate high-tier loot.
In addition to gameplay changes, Season 3 also features a variety of themed events and collaborations. These include a crossover with Pop Team Epic and the return of the NieR: Automata collaboration, which last appeared in Season 5 of 2025. The season also introduces a new Battle Pass, Challenge Pass, and multiple Lucky Draws, offering players plenty of new content throughout the update.
Season 3 Highlights and Seasonal Events
New Mode: DMZ – Recon Quick Play
Season 3 introduces Quick Play, a faster-paced variant of the DMZ: Recon mode. The mode is designed for players who want shorter matches while still experiencing the core gameplay loop of looting, combat, and extracting with valuable gear.
Matches take place on a condensed section of Serpent Island, focusing on the northern part of the map. Key locations include Kurohana Base, Observatory, Kurohana Ship, Port, and Residential areas.
Only four squads participate in each match, creating more intense encounters and faster action compared to the standard extraction mode. The extraction switch has also been relocated outside the ship’s interior, increasing tension as teams compete for control of the extraction point.

Pop Team Epic Collaboration Event
The surreal comedy anime Pop Team Epic joins Call of Duty: Mobile through a special collaboration event. Players collect puzzle pieces by completing matches, which unlock various Puzzle Challenges.
Completing these challenges reveals panels from the anime’s signature four-panel comic format. Collecting all panels rewards players with a full set of themed items, including weapon camos, a Pop Team Epic weapon blueprint, an emote, charms, sprays, and other cosmetic rewards.
Spring Invasion Event
The Spring Invasion event introduces an alien-themed seasonal celebration. Players can earn rewards simply by logging in and completing missions during the event.
Available rewards include the Crash — Spring Breaker and Crash — Spring Fling Operator Skins, along with themed avatars, calling cards, and other seasonal cosmetics.

NieR: Automata Collaboration Returns
The NieR: Automata crossover makes its return in Season 3 with an updated event structure. Players take command of a YoRHa unit and progress through a branching mission map.
Throughout the event, players collect skill chips and unlock new routes by completing objectives. Progression rewards include items such as the Kui Ji — YoRHa No. 9 Type S Operator Skin, the EMR 2 — Atonement of the Ancients weapon blueprint, and several NieR-themed melee weapons.
Additional seasonal events will also offer rewards like the QXR — Lethal Carapace blueprint and the Ruin — Coleoptera Operator Skin.
Season 3 Battle Pass and Challenge Pass
Season 3 introduces a sci-fi and cosmic horror-themed Battle Pass filled with operator skins, weapon blueprints, cosmetics, and Call of Duty Points.
Free Battle Pass Tiers
The free tiers introduce the MX Guardian shotgun, a fully automatic 12-gauge weapon with a large magazine designed for close-range combat.
Another major addition is the Tactical Mirror Battle Royale class, which deploys a mirror device capable of duplicating high-tier loot and ammunition for squad members.
Players progressing through the free tiers will also unlock additional camos, blueprints, and cosmetic rewards.

Premium Pass Tiers
Players who purchase the Premium Pass will gain access to exclusive Operator Skins, including:
- Jackal — The Teeth

- Misty — Campfire Camo
The pass also features several advanced weapon blueprints such as:

Challenge Pass
The Challenge Pass also returns in Season 3 with Standard, Special, and Elite missions. Completing these missions rewards players with tokens that can be exchanged for seasonal items.
Rewards include the ICR — Perilous Mosaic weapon blueprint and a Modern Warfare-themed Emergency Airdrop Scorestreak reskin.
Store Update and Lucky Draws
Season 3 introduces several Lucky Draws built around cosmic horror and science-fiction themes.
The Critical Parasite Draw features the American Bulldog — Ectoparasite Operator Skin alongside the legendary MX Guardian — Critical Emergence blueprint.
