⚙️ What Black Ops 7 Means for Warzone

Each new Call of Duty installment reshapes Warzone, and Black Ops 7 is expected to follow suit. The game introduces wall-jumping and an upgraded omnimovement system, which will likely carry over to Warzone’s gameplay when Season 1 launches later this year. Alongside weapons and mechanics, the first season traditionally brings a fresh map — but this one might not be what players were hoping for.

🗺️ Leaked Details on Warzone’s Next Resurgence Map

According to reliable leaker TheGhostOfHope, Warzone’s next Resurgence map will debut with Season 1 in late 2025. However, the insider claims the map won’t be original; instead, it will be an expanded version of Liberty Falls, a Zombies map from Black Ops 6.

Another prominent leaker, RealityUK, added that the Resurgence map won’t just recycle Liberty Falls — it could also incorporate Shattered Veil and additional Black Ops 6 Zombies locations. If accurate, this would mean the entire new Resurgence map is built from existing Zombies content.

Unsurprisingly, the community reaction has been harsh. Many players have labeled the idea as “lazy” and accused Treyarch of lacking creativity when it comes to designing new Warzone maps.
