Infinity Ward Is Reworking the Next Call of Duty After Negative Reception from the Players

Infinity Ward is looking to release a new Call of Duty video game this year. The studio is responsible for the development of such important franchise titles as the original Modern Warfare trilogy and also Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: WWII. The new version of Modern Warfare franchise, especially starting from Modern Warfare II, was not as great as the original one, and the developers are reportedly changing their newest titles after negative reactions from the players.

After the initial report that the new Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty, which is going to be Modern Warfare IV, according to game series insider TheGhostofHope, the studio is actually doing a reworking process on the gameplay of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare IV. Despite Infinity Ward publicly addressed recent rumors and claimed to ‘not believe everything is written on the Internet,’ according to another Call of Duty insider, AleexBlaze, the studio has been working so hard to fix everything related to Modern Warfare IV after negative comments from the players that the game is looking so much like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Considering the reaction from the players, it’s good that Infinity Ward is really listening to the feedback about their future game. Although the new Call of Duty game is not announced yet, it’s likely to happen soon during the year and be released somewhere in autumn, just like the previous years.
