Alpha vs. Omega Conflict Begins in VALORANT

Riot Games has officially launched a new global in-game event in VALORANT — the Alpha vs. Omega Conflict. The challenge directly continues the narrative introduced in the Season 26 Act 1 cinematic, blending lore with competitive gameplay. For an entire month, players will fight for the fate of two realities, representing one of two opposing factions.

Alpha vs. Omega — Pick Your Allegiance ⚔️

Players can manually choose between the Alpha and Omega factions or complete a special personality quiz that assigns a side based on personal preferences and motivations.Once selected, the faction cannot be changed for the full four-week duration of the event.

From that point on, simply playing VALORANT earns points for your chosen side.

Each week introduces a new global challenge, with Alpha and Omega competing for total points earned worldwide.

Weekly Challenges Breakdown

Week 1 — Most kills with the Bandit pistol(Jan 7, 09:00 CET – Jan 14, 08:59 CET)

Week 2 — Most wins in All Random One Site mode(Jan 14, 09:00 CET – Jan 21, 08:59 CET)

Week 3 — Highest number of assists across all modes(Jan 21, 09:00 CET – Jan 28, 08:59 CET)

Week 4 — Most points earned in Competitive matches(Jan 28, 09:00 CET – Feb 4, 08:59 CET)

Competitive scoring rules:

• Win: 3 points
• Loss: 1 point
• Ties: Resolved by ACS (Average Combat Score)

Content creators are actively participating, with performance tracked across dedicated leaderboards. Rankings are split by region:
