Mikes is the new head coach of 100 Thieves

The North American esports organization 100 Thieves has announced a reshuffle on the coaching bridge of the VALORANT roster. As a result of the latest changes, Mikes was appointed to the position of head coach, while sgares left his position after six months.

Please welcome Mikes as the new head coach of 100 Thieves! Mike has worked tirelessly as an assistant coach to develop our squad and we have no doubt he will shine even brighter in this role. The Torch will be carried over to the new 100 Thieves era in VALORANT.

Mikes joined 100 Thieves in March this year as assistant head coach. Together with him, sgares was appointed head coach, who had not had similar experience before.

Their duo helped the North American team get into the TOP-8 at the Knights Gauntlet Circuit Monthly 2022: April, take sixth place at the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers, and also perform at VALORANT Champions 2022, stopping a step away from reaching the playlist -off.

100 Thieves has partnered with Riot Games and will take part in the top competitive ecosystem alongside Sentinels, Cloud9, NRG Esports, Evil Geniuses, FURIA, LOUD, MIBR, Leviatán Esports and KRÜ Esports.

At the same time, a little earlier, the North American organization signed a contract with Cryocells, as it seems, limited to minor changes before the start of the next season.
