SicK returned to the Sentinels after a five-month hiatus
The North American esports organization Sentinels has announced the return of SicK to the VALORANT roster. Recall that the 24-year-old American dropped out of the team in the spring, citing psychological problems and a desire to deal with his health.
SicK has been part of the Sentinels since the roster was formed in April 2020. In two years, the 24-year-old American player became the champion of PAX Arena Invitational, JBL Quantum Cup, VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters, VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers Finals, VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík and VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs, among others.
However, this spring, SicK unexpectedly left the starting lineup, stating his difficulties in his personal life, as well as health problems. As a result, the Sentinels were forced to look for an emergency replacement while the American player tried to sort himself out.
The Sentinels are one of ten organizations that have made it into the VALORANT American League, which will be based in Los Angeles next season. The club will be joined by four other organizations from North America (Cloud9, 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses and NRG Esports), three from Brazil (LOUD, FURIA and MIBR) and two from Latin America (KRU Esports and Leviatán Esports).
It is likely that SicK will become a substitute player for the club, while shroud will take a backseat and become involved in streaming activities for the benefit of the North American organization.
This is not the first change in the composition of the Sentinels in recent times. The organization has seriously approached the formation of the roster, not only updating the coaching staff, but also signing an almost complete team of newcomers.
