ShahZaM leaves the Sentinels and becomes a free agent
The North American esports organization Sentinels has announced the final parting with ShahZaM. The 29-year-old American player has been part of the team since its inception, but is now becoming a free agent. It should be noted that for the last two weeks the cybersportsman has been inactive and was thinking about his future in the discipline.
Sentinels Hall of Fame - ShahZaM. Under your leadership, we have become champions. You've changed the way the game is played and brought pride back to North American esports. Wherever you go, your legacy will always be part of this team.
ShahZaM has been playing for the Sentinels since April 2020, ever since the competitive scene emerged. During this time, the 29-year-old American helped the team win Pop Flash, JBL Quantum Cup, VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters, VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers Finals, VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík and VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
In addition, together with the team, he had a chance to take part in the VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin and VALORANT Champions 2021.
The Sentinels are one of ten organizations that have made it into the VALORANT American League, which will be based in Los Angeles next season. The club will be joined by four other organizations from North America (Cloud9, 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses and NRG Esports), three from Brazil (LOUD, FURIA and MIBR) and two from Latin America (KRU Esports and Leviatán Esports).
Note that these changes are caused by a serious restructuring of the composition. In recent weeks, the Sentinels organization has seriously approached the formation of the roster, not only updating the coaching staff, but also signing an almost complete rookie team.
Updated Sentinels roster for VALORANT discipline:
- zekken
- dephh
- pANcada
