Gen.G Esports Approves VALORANT Roster for VCT 2023
Multinational esports organization Gen.G Esports has approved the VALORANT roster for VCT 2023. As a result, the club has unveiled a completely new roster that will play in the Asian League. The only exception was Elmapuddy, who remained in the team's structure as head coach.
The first recruits of the team were TS and k1Ng, former On Sla2ers players. Together, the South Korean esports took second place at VCT 2022: Korea Stage 1 Challengers.
The third signing of Gen.G Esports turned out to be iNTRO. The 20-year-old player opened the season with DAMWON Gaming, after which he tried his hand at ENTER FORCE.36 and REJECT. Together with him, Secret, a former member of DRX Academy, joined the team. Here, the young South Korean took second place in UTAGE VALORANT Season 5.
Another acquisition of the club was eKo, who spent most of the season with Reignite. Together with his former team, the player made it to the top 8 at VCT 2022: Japan Stage 1 Challengers Playoffs.
The latest addition to the Gen.G Esports roster was Meteor. The 22-year-old esportsman became the star of Northeption, where he managed to win the VCT 2022: Japan Stage 2 Challengers Playoffs, as well as take part in the VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen.
The head coach of the team will remain Elmapuddy, who until that moment led the organization's North American roster. Helping him in this difficult task will be bail, who has been working as a coach for the Northeption team for the past six months.
Recall that the Gen.G Esports organization was among the partners to participate in the VCT 2023 in Asia. The esports club will play in the same League together with ZETA DIVISION, T1, DRX, Global Esports, DetonatioN Gaming, Team Secret, Rex Regum Qeon, Paper Rex and Talon Esports.
