kaplan and SyykoNT join Sentinels coaching staff
According to well-known insider George Geddes, the North American esports organization Sentinels is preparing to introduce a new VALORANT coaching staff, which will include kaplan and SyykoNT. It is expected that the official appointment of specialists will take place in the near future.
SyykoNT is set to become the new head coach of the Sentinels, replacing Rawkus. The 30-year-old American specialist has spent the last two seasons at the helm of XSET, with which he managed to win the NSG x Complexity Invitational, NSG: Winter Championship, NSG: Summer Championship - Philadelphia and VCT 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers.
In turn, kaplan will join the team as a strategic coach. The 28-year-old specialist worked with the Ghost Gaming team for a year and a half, which led to victories at Knights Gauntlet Circuit Monthly 2022: April and NSG: Summer Championship, and also brought him to the TOP-3 at NSG: Winter Championship - Open 5 and Knights Arena Valorampage.
Note that this is not the only news that Sentinels is preparing for us. With TenZ and ShahZaM in limbo, the club will have to enter the transfer market in search of worthy options to strengthen their squad.
The Sentinels are one of ten organizations that have made it into the VALORANT American League, which will be based in Los Angeles next season. They will be joined by four other organizations from North America (Cloud9, 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses and NRG Esports), three from Brazil (LOUD, FURIA and MIBR) and two from Latin America (KRU Esports and Leviatán Esports).
The current Sentinels roster for VALORANT is:
- ShahZaM
- dapr
- TenZ
- shroud
- Rawkus (coach)
