mCe prepares to lead Cloud9
According to well-known insider George Geddes, North American esports organization Cloud9 has decided on a new head coach for their VALORANT roster while discussing options for signing mCe. If the parties agree on the details, the 31-year-old American specialist will replace JamezIRL.
mCe, like most other coaches and players, comes from CS:GO. At the same time, the 31-year-old specialist spent the last season at the helm of The Guard. Together with the team, he managed to win the Nerd Street Gamers: Winter Championship - Open 14 and VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 1 Challengers, as well as reach the finals of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Last Chance Qualifier.
In addition, mCe took part in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík, where, nevertheless, he failed to lead the team to success.
Cloud9 has partnered with Riot Games and will take part in the top competitive ecosystem alongside Sentinels, 100 Thieves, NRG Esports, Evil Geniuses, FURIA, LOUD, MIBR, Leviatán Esports, and KRÜ Esports.
At the end of last week, the North American club decided to part ways with JamezIRL, who worked with the VALORANT roster for two seasons. Note that Cloud9 is also currently working on two transfers at once - Zellsis and yay. At the same time, sources report that deals with players have been agreed and are awaiting official publication.
