ANDROID leaves NRG to become a free agent
Canadian player ANDROID announced his departure from the NRG team as a free agent. The 28-year-old e-sportsman announced this on social networks.
My time with NRG is officially over. I am always grateful for this opportunity and have only good things to say about the staff/players. As for my future, I can't give up, having come this far, I'll be back.
ANDROID moved to VALORANT from the CS:GO discipline at the end of 2020. Already at the beginning of the new season, the 28-year-old Canadian esportsman joined the NRG team. Here, the former hope of the scene made it to the top three at the end of VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers 2, Nerd Street Gamers: Summer Championship, Community Gaming Valorant Elite Showdown, NSG: Winter Championship - Open 7 and Knights Arena Valorampage.
However, after the team's failure at VCT 2022: North America Stage 1 Challengers, the player left the NRG starting lineup and moved to inactive. Since that time, ANDROID has remained without a team, from time to time appearing in minor championships.
In turn, the NRG organization has significantly strengthened its membership by signing Ethan. However, all the changes did not help the team to achieve success, taking fourth place at the VCT 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers, as well as being eliminated from the VCT 2022: North America Last Chance Qualifier in the early stages.
The current VALORANT NRG roster is as follows:
- s0m
- eeiu
- tex
- hazed
- Ethan
- JoshRT and Zikz (coaching staff)
