ANDROID joins Ottawa Braves
The Canadian eSports organization Ottawa Braves, which is part of the University of Ottawa, has announced the signing of a contract with professional player ANDROID. It is reported that the 28-year-old Canadian decided to get a bachelor's degree in sports psychology at the University of Ottawa, and at the same time got the opportunity to become part of the eSports program of the educational institution.
Hello Ottawa Braves family, today we would like you all to welcome ANDROID to our family! ANDROID is pursuing a BA in Sports Psychology and will be representing the Ottawa Braves as a member of our VALORANT team!
ANDROID is a former professional CS:GO player where he played for teams such as compLexity Gaming and Team Envy. However, in 2020, the Canadian moved to VALORANT, where he very soon joined the Andbox team. Here, the 28-year-old won the NSG x Renegades Invitational and Nerd Street Gamers - Monthly November to join NRG a few months later.
With the new team, ANDROID spent fourteen months to get into the top three at VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers 2, Nerd Street Gamers: Summer Championship, Community Gaming Valorant Elite Showdown and Knights Arena Valorampage.
To all those who have supported me throughout my career: I would like to inform you all that I have decided to complete my BA in Sports Psychology at the University of Ottawa while playing on their VALORANT team.
However, last spring the Canadian left the starting lineup of the team to continue his career in amateur teams. At the same time, ANDROID took up his education and entered the University of Ottawa. Now an experienced esportsman will help his young partners on their way to the top in VALORANT.
