Benjyfishy moves to VALORANT and joins Enterprise Esports
The North American esports organization NRG has announced the end of Benjyfishy's Fortnite career. The 18-year-old British player announced his move to VALORANT, where he managed to find himself a new team in the face of Enterprise Esports.
Today, Benjyfishy is taking the next step on his VALORANT pro career by officially becoming a free agent to open up opportunities for his team. While he may have to put on a new jersey, he will forever be part of the NRG family and we can't wait to support him in his new chapter.
Benjyfishy has spent over three years under the wing of the NRG organization. During his career at the club, the 18-year-old British player became the winner of Friday Fortnite 2019: Week 1, PC Cash Cup: Chapter 2 Season 2 - Week 1: Europe, PC Cash Cup: C2S3 - Week 2: Europe, FNCS: Season X - Week 2: Europe, FNCS: Season X - Week 4: Europe, FNCS: Season X - Week 5: Europe, FNCS: Invitational - Week 1: Europe and FNCS: Invitational - Week 2: Europe, earning over $500,000 in prize money.
However, in the summer, Benjyfishy left NRG and began to try his hand at VALORANT. Here, the young Briton managed to make his debut for the Dragonslayerzzz team, with whom he took second place in the Trinity Trials - Fall Trial.
1369 days ago I joined NRG. It's been an amazing three and a half years. It will be strange to realize that I am no longer part of the team, but I am extremely excited for my new adventure. I will be playing Challengers 2023 East under the Enterprise tag along with Minny, Cantzer, MaFiN and alexiiik. I'm looking forward to playing tournaments again and I hope some of you will come and support us.
Benjyfishy is now part of the Enterprise Esports team that became part of the Challengers League East: Surge - Stage 1. The series will start in January and run until March, offering the winner a slot in the regional Ascension.
