NRG intends to sign the backbone of OpTic Gaming

According to well-known insider George Geddes, the North American esports organization NRG plans to sign the backbone of OpTic Gaming - FNS, crashies and Victor. In addition, the club intends to invite Chet to the position of head coach.

The esportsmen presented above played for OpTic Gaming (formerly Team Envy) for two seasons. Interestingly, Chet has worked for NRG in the past, where he got his start in VALORANT. However, in April last year, the 26-year-old American specialist moved to TSM, from where he later headed Team Envy.

However, OpTic Gaming was not included in the list of partners to participate in VCT 2023, after which all members of the roster announced their intention to change the club. In turn, the NRG club has become a partner of Riot Games and will take part in the top competitive ecosystem along with Sentinels, 100 Thieves, Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, FURIA, LOUD, MIBR, Leviatán Esports and KRÜ Esports. At the same time, the new season officially kicks off with the VCT 2023: Kickoff Tournament in February, in which all 30 partner teams from Asia, America and Europe will take part.

Right after OpTic Gaming's upcoming player transfer rumors surfaced, the NRG organization allowed its players, with the exception of s0m, to look for options to continue their careers. At the same time, there is every right to believe that the 20-year-old American will remain in the team, and the club will search for a fifth member in the near future.
