BcJ becomes a free agent
BcJ announces his departure from the XSET team and becomes a free agent. The 22-year-old American cybersportsman announced this on his personal Twitter page.
Update: I've parted ways with XSET and I'm now officially an unrestricted free agent.
BcJ became part of XSET at the beginning of 2021, having moved from the Sedated camp. Over the next two seasons, the 22-year-old American player became the winner of the NSG x Complexity Invitational, Nerd Street Gamers: Winter Championship, Nerd Street Gamers: Summer Championship - Philadelphia and VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers.
In addition, together with the team, he took part in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen (7th-8th place) and VALORANT Champions 2022 (5th-6th place).
However, XSET's dreams of getting into the affiliate program were not destined to happen. At the same time, the organization held preliminary negotiations with G2 Esports in order to sell the roster to the club, which was supposed to become part of VCT 2023. However, this deal also turned out to be a failure, because after the scandal surrounding the CEO of G2 Esports, the clubs had to abandon negotiations. As a result, XSET allowed its players to search for options in a free order, but added that they would remain on the scene with their XSET Purple female roster.
It is not clear where BcJ will move before the start of next season. However, many teams are entering the transfer market to look for options among free agents.
