Munchkin joins T1 roster
South Korean esports organization T1 has completed its VALORANT roster by signing a contract with Munchkin. Recall that the 24-year-old South Korean player spent the last season in the Crazy Raccoon.
Munchkin previously played for the Crazy Raccoon team, with which he won the VALORANT TechnoBlood Climber Summit, VCT 2021: Japan Stage 1 Masters and VCT 2021: Japan Stage 2 Challengers Finals, and also made it to the top three at VCT 2021: Japan Stage 2 Challengers 1 and VCT 2021: Japan Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
In addition, the 24-year-old played with the team at three international tournaments - VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík, VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin and VALORANT Champions 2021.
The last championship for Munchkin as part of Crazy Raccoon was the VCT 2022: Japan Stage 1 Challengers Playoffs, following which the team took second place and was left without a Masters in Iceland.
Note that this is not the first change in the composition of T1, made with an emphasis on South Korean players. Two weeks ago, the organization made an exchange with Cloud9, signing xeta and trainer Autumn. In the opposite direction went curry, which has represented the colors of T1 since the beginning of 2021.
From now on, the T1 roster for VALORANT is as follows:
- thwifo.
- steel.
- pwny.
- xeta.
- Munchkin.
- Autumn (head coach).
- Stunner (assistant coach).
