Cloud9 gave away xeta to T1 — curry followed in the opposite direction
The North American esports organization Cloud9 has announced changes to their VALORANT roster, dropping xeta and coach Autumn to T1. Curry followed in the opposite direction. Mutual changes in the lineups have been officially confirmed by both eSports clubs.
xeta has been playing for Cloud9 since January 2021. In a year and a half, the 24-year-old South Korean esportsman became the winner of Nerd Street Gamers: 2021 Monthly March, Nerd Street Gamers: Summer Championship, VCT 2021: North America Last Chance Qualifier and Knights Arena Valorampage, and also got into the top three at VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers 2, VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers Finals and VCT 2022: North America Stage 1 Challengers.
The company in T1 will be made up of Autumn, who led Cloud9 during the same period. During this time, the South Korean specialist helped the team qualify for VALORANT Champions 2021, reaching the quarter-final stage.
Curry followed in the opposite direction, having spent the last 15 months with T1. Together with the team, the 19-year-old American became the winner of NSG: Summer Championship - Open 2, and also made it to the top three at NSG: Winter Championship - Open 14 and Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet 2022: March.
Cloud9 is currently competing in VCT 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers. According to the results of the first week, the team has one victory over Evil Geniuses (2:0).
