m1cks became assistant head coach at Cloud9
North American esports organization Cloud9 has announced the appointment of m1cks to the position of Assistant Head Coach for the VALORANT roster. It should be noted that the American specialist previously had experience in the CS:GO discipline, where for some time he held the positions of an analyst and assistant coach at Cloud9.
m1cks appeared on the scene back in 2018, becoming the head coach of Cerus eSports. However, the further career of the American was connected with the work of an analyst, since he managed to prove himself in Bravado Gaming, Rogue, eUnited and Cloud9.
At the same time, at the end of last year, m1cks returned to coaching again, heading Nordavind. Together with the team, the American specialist did not achieve much success, reaching the quarterfinals of the Elisa Invitational Summer 2021, and also making it to the playoffs of ESEA Season 37: Advanced Division - Europe.
Note that Cloud9 recently made changes to the VALORANT roster, in particular, by transferring their coach Autumn to T1. As a result, the organization promoted JamezIRL, who has been with the team for the past year and a half.
Currently, the North American team continues its performances within the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers, having one victory and one defeat to its credit.
From now on, Cloud9's VALORANT roster is as follows:
- mitch.
- leaf.
- Xeppaa.
- vanity.
- curry.
- JamezIRL (head coach).
- m1cks (assistant coach).
