Official: Kanpeki became a new member of the Sentinels
The North American esports organization Sentinels has announced changes to the starting roster for VALORANT by signing a contract with Kanpeki. The 24-year-old American player is called to replace zombs, who has been moved to inactive.
Kanpeki spent the last six months with Akrew, with whom he won NSG: Winter Championship - Open 6, NSG: Winter Championship - Open 9, Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet - December and NSG: Winter Championship - Philadelphia, and also took third place in the NSG: Winter Championship.
In turn, zombs has been playing for the Sentinels since the roster was formed in April 2020. In two seasons, the 23-year-old American has helped the team win many championships, including the JBL Quantum Cup, VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters, VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík and VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
The next championship for the Sentinels will be VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers, where the team has yet to qualify. Open qualifiers are scheduled for next week.
