koosta left Gen.G Esports
North American esports organization Gen.G Esports has announced roster changes for VALORANT, parting ways with koosta. According to rumors, the team has been training with Jerk for some time, the signing of which should be announced in the near future.
koosta joined Gen.G Esports at the beginning of 2021, when he moved from the CS:GO discipline, where he also represented the colors of the organization. During the season, the 25-year-old American esportsman helped the team take third place in the VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters, and also get into the TOP-4 at VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 3.
However, the club never managed to qualify for any major championship, thus casting doubt on the viability of the squad. At the same time, back in December, the organization signed a contract with rhyme, who previously played for Ninjas in Pajamas.
The newcomer to Gen.G Esports is expected to be Jerk, who has been training alongside the rest of the team for some time now. At the same time, the Canadian esportsman has never stayed in any team, trying his hand at Elevate, Reformed and Renegades.
The next tournament for Gen.G Esports will be the YFP Winter Classic, which will be held online from February 21 to 22. Until then, the team must announce the name of the fifth player.
The current Gen.G Esports roster is as follows:
- gMd.
- Shawn.
- NaturE.
- rhyme.
- Elmapuddy (coach).
