gMd left Gen.G Esports starting roster
The North American esports organization Gen.G Esports has announced changes to the starting roster for VALORANT, deleting gMd from the list. Recall that the 21-year-old Canadian esportsman has represented the colors of the club since May 2020.
As of today, gMd has been removed from the Gen.G Esports VALORANT starting roster. Going forward, gMd will be a restricted free agent while he explores other options. As an integral part of our original lineup, we appreciate everything you've done and wish you nothing but the best.
gMd became the founder of the original Gen.G Esports roster, joining the team in the spring of 2020. For almost two years, the 21-year-old Canadian esportsman helped the team win the T1 x Nerd Street Gamers Invitational, Pittsburgh Knights Tournament Series, Pulse Invitational and Pittsburgh Knights Before Christmas, as well as get into the top three at the Pittsburgh Knights Invitational Gauntlet Series, JBL Quantum Cup and VCT 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters.
The last tournament for gMd as part of Gen.G Esports was the Proving Grounds $20k - Spring 2022, following which the team took second place, losing in the grand final to FaZe Clan (0:2).
From now on, the Gen.G Esports VALORANT roster is as follows:
- rhyme.
- NaturE.
- Shawn.
- Elmapuddy (coach).
