100 Thieves unveiled a new roster
The North American esports organization 100 Thieves has unveiled its updated VALORANT roster. While ec1s and BabyJ joined the team, Jovi was introduced as the head coach.
Immediately after the departure of steel and nitr0, the organization began to actively look for replacements. At the same time, rumors began to appear almost immediately about the organization's interest in various esports players, including current representatives of the CS:GO scene. At the same time, ec1s, who showed interest in moving to North America, appeared almost immediately on the horizon. In addition, 100 Thieves has also been linked with the signing of BabyJ, who has been without a club for the past few months.
It is expected that the captain in the new season will be ec1s. The 21-year-old British esportsman has already had a similar experience, playing for Team Liquid and Ninjas in Pajamas. In turn, BabyJ spent the last six months as part of FaZe Clan, with which he took second place in the VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers 2, and also got into the TOP-6 at VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.
Jovi will train 100 Thieves in the new season. Joining the team back in October 2020 as an analyst, the American has done a great job helping 100 Thieves win First Strike North America and reach the semi-finals at VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin.
From now on, the composition of 100 Thieves is as follows:
- hiko.
- asuna.
- Ethan.
- BabyJ.
- ec1s.
- Jovie (coach)
