The other day Ubisoft told a little new about the upcoming Rainbow Six Extraction. Collected the main announcements below:

Extraction will have a crossplay with general progress for all platforms from the day of release
Extraction Players Will Receive 18 Operators For Rainbow Six Siege
For Rainbow Six Siege players, a set of "United Front" equipment will be prepared. It contains 2 operative outfits that can be used in both Extraction and Siege.

While Ubisoft was generous in giving gifts and bonuses to Rainbow Six fans, the players themselves weren't thrilled. The main criticism is that Extraction is a Siege mode under the guise of a standalone game.

In the crossplay preview video, Ubisoft themselves state that Extraction is based on most of the Siege mechanics. As a result, the video scored almost the same ratio of likes and dislikes.
