Former NAVI coach arrested on suspicion of assaulting ex-girlfriend
DotEsports has some data on the case against Ellis 'GiG' Hindle. The latter is suspected of assaulting his ex-girlfriend. Regardless, GiG was released on bail before the trial starts active.
Aimee Southern, who was previously in a relationship with Invictus Gaming coach Ellis 'GiG' Hindle, posted a post on TwitLonger in which she told the story of their relationship. She accused Hindle of repeated violence against her. It is noteworthy that the day before posting the message on TwitLonger, Amy Southern filed a police report against her former boyfriend.
GiG revealed that her words are lies and he has evidence that Amy is lying. Despite what happened to Ellis Hindle, GiG was still able to take part in the Six Invitational 2021 together with Giants Gaming. At that time, the fault of the team's coach was not proven, as reported by the representatives of the esports club.
Hindle was arrested after another attack on Aimee Southern. Representatives of the DotEsports portal learned about this, having received information from the victim. The police refused to give a detailed comment on this matter and did not confirm the identity of the detainee, but gave some details that agree with what Amy said.
Ellis 'GiG' Hindle coached Natus Vincere players from June to December 2019. The 21-year-old mentor has been working with the current roster of Invictus Gaming since January 30, 2020. Then the players played under the Giants Gaming tag, and on June 16, 2021, the team became part of Invictus Gaming.
