The fight against cheaters continues - Ubisoft banned over 91,000 dishonest players last year
Ubisoft told that they do not stop fighting against fans of foul play. They banned over 91,000 cheaters in 2020. Note that this is 44% more than in 2019. Information about the work done appeared on the official website of the game developers.
In 2021, Ubisoft introduced a new algorithm to combat cheaters, which is based on statistics from unscrupulous users. This year, the developers want to automate the blocking process, but at the moment it already helps the moderators to make decisions about bans.
In addition, Ubisoft announced that they have introduced a two-factor authentication process for players from Asia and Oceania, which should strengthen the fight against cheaters.
Recently it became known about a possible postponement of the dates of the Six Invitational 2021. The reason for this was the closure of borders for residents of countries outside the European Union.
