eUnited wins ESL PUBG Masters: Americas Phase 1
The ESL PUBG Masters: Americas Phase 1 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from February 25 to March 6, 16 teams from North and South America fought for a prize pool of $50,000, as well as PGC Points. The winner of the tournament was the eUnited team, which scored 245 points after two stages.
Second place went to the Shoot To Kill team with 240 points. The third line went to the Soniqs team, which scored 226 points.
According to the results of the first week of the competition, the North American team was only fifth, scoring 109 points and winning only one round out of fifteen. However, in the second week, eUnited managed to make a breakthrough, winning four rounds to reach 136 points in total. It was thanks to the successful performance in the second stage of the ESL PUBG Masters: Americas Phase 1 that the team managed to take the lead and get ahead of the pursuer in the face of Shoot To Kill.
With this win, eUnited earned $12,500 and 200 PGC Points.
