ESL PUBG Masters Americas Phase 2 announced
Tournament operator ESL has announced the holding of ESL PUBG Masters Americas Phase 2. In general, the championship will take place online from July 6 to July 31, while participants will compete for a prize pool of $50,000. In addition, the teams will compete for PGC qualifying points.
ESL PUBG Masters Americas Phase 2 will be divided into three stages: open qualifiers, regional playoffs and grand finals. Open qualifiers for the championship will be held from 6 to 14 July.
Open qualifiers will be held separately for each sub-region (Americas) and will support up to 160 teams. Each round will last 2 days. Depending on the total number of registered teams, there will be 3 or 4 rounds in total.
Eight strongest teams from each sub-region will advance to the regional playoffs, where they will compete with 16 invited participants. The ESL PUBG Masters Americas Phase 2 playoffs will take place from July 15 to 17.
The top ten teams from North America and the six strongest teams from South America will advance to the grand final, which will be held from 22 to 24 and 29 to 31 July, respectively, according to the SUPER system.
All invited teams to the ESL PUBG Masters Americas Phase 2 are reportedly required to retain more than half of their roster that was featured at the PCS6 Americas Grand Final.

- 15th place: $500.
