DAMWON Gaming announced lineups for LCK Summer 2022 and LCK CL Summer 2022
The leadership of the Korean esports organization DAMWON Gaming announced that they have secured their League of Legends rosters for the upcoming performances in the summer split of the Korean League in LoL.
The last changes to the League of Legends starting roster were made on April 20, 2022. Then the famous top lane player and 2020 World Championship champion Jang 'Nuguri' Ha-gwon joined the team. By the way, he won the World Championship under the tag of DAMWON Gaming. All other players entered the roster on December 1, 2021 and December 13 of the same year. The team, in addition to Jang 'Nuguri' Ha-gwon, includes such players as Noh 'Burdol' Tei-yun, Yoon 'Hoya' Yong-hu, Kim 'Canyon' Geon-bu, Heo 'ShowMaker' Su, Seo 'deokdam' Day-gil and Kim 'Kellin' Hyong-gyu.
The last championship in which the players took part was LCK Spring 2022. There the team took 3rd place, losing in the fight to the representatives of GenG Esports with a score of 2-3. The cash reward was $40,915. DAMWON Gaming, two steps away from receiving an invite to the Mid-Season Invitational 2022, failed to realize their chance. It is worth noting that this was at the end of March before the arrival of Nuguri. The latter can make a significant impact so that the team will reach a new level and be able to show a master class at the upcoming LCK Summer 2022. At the moment, there is no information about when exactly the league for Korean professional players in League of Legends will take place, just like about what will be the prize fund of the championship.
DAMWON Gaming starting lineup
- Noh 'Burdol' Tei-yun
- Yun 'Hoya' Yong-hu
- Jang 'Nuguri' Ha-gwon

As for the second roster, DAMWON Challengers only changed last year. The roster was completed on December 7 with the arrival of Park 'Thanatos' Sung-gyu, Kang 'Saint' Sion-in, Jeon 'Pullbae' Ji-hoon and Cho 'Rahel' Min-sung. On April 1, the team completed its participation in the LCK Challengers League 2022 Spring. There, the team successfully won, defeating the NongShim RedForce Challengers in the final with a score of 3-1. Thus, the players from DAMWON Challengers managed to earn the main cash reward of $28,640. It is not surprising that the club's management decided not to change such a combat-ready squad and left everything as it is. When exactly the LCK Challengers League Summer 2022 will take place and what its prize pool will be at the moment, just like in the case of LCK Summer 2022, is unknown.
