Taco Storm left G2 Esports
Taco Storm has stepped down as General Manager of G2 Esports League of Legends. Recall that the 35-year-old Canadian joined the organization in July last year.
"Today we are parting ways with our manager Taco Storm. Thanks for the memories, successes and above all for running the wildest company in esports. Goodbye Taco, good luck in your future endeavors," theorganization tweeted.
Led by Taco Storm, the team won the LEC Summer 2020 and also made it to the semi-finals of the 2020 World Championship. However, in the 2021 season, G2 Esports experienced more falls than ups, as the team finished third at LEC Spring 2021 and fourth at LEC Summer 2021. At the same time, the team did not make it to the 2021 World Championship, missing the main championship of the year in the League of Legends.
Recall that a month ago, G2 Esports made the first attempts to change the roster, putting Wunder, Rekkles and Mikyx on the bench. The team currently includes Caps and Jankos.
