While Jason prefers a street-fighter style, using powerful strikes and brute force, Lucia specializes in kickboxing and mixed martial arts. This move will allow Rockstar to diversify the combat system and appeal to a wider range of fans.

In one of his interviews, the above-mentioned Rob Nelson also admitted that Rockstar originally planned to have four main characters in GTA 6 but ultimately decided that was too many. However, he recently stated that the team was concerned about the fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 had only one playable character. As Nelson explained, developers always strive to build on ideas from previous projects, but in terms of having multiple main characters, RDR 2 differed from GTA 5.
