Latest Steam Leak Revealed Achievements to Upcoming Titles and Plenty of Unannounced Games

Leaks have become commonplace in the gaming industry, and sometimes their scale is really impressive. One such example is the recent Steam leak, which reveals achievements and other details about a host of upcoming projects as well as confirms the existence of games that haven't been announced yet.

Users on the ResetEra forum discovered that, as a result of a leak, achievement lists for upcoming games such as Persona 6, Metro 2039, Control Resonant, Judas, and many others have surfaced. This information was confirmed by Exophase, a website that compiles data on game achievements across all platforms, including Steam. The leaks also contain potential spoilers for all the games listed above and others, so you may come across some important plot points. Persona 6 seems particularly interesting in this regard, considering that the game hasn’t really been shown yet and its release date remains unknown.

Steam leak could be way worse than Nvidia leak, they may have accidentally revealed achievement lists for a bunch of upcoming PC games through a third-party site.

The list includes games like Persona 6, Ace Combat 8, Kingdom Hearts 4, Judas, Control Resonant, Deus Ex Remastered and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis.

Even worse, some of the entries seem to be for games that haven’t been announced yet. There are also references that could point to a new Balatro project and a Thief: The Dark Project campaign called The Tarnished Mirror.

They may be placeholders, but if the data is legit, Steam could have leaked a lot of unannounced games.

But what's even more interesting is that this massive leak reveals the existence of many games that haven't been officially announced yet. These include a Star Wars shooter from an unnamed studio, a new Sea of Thieves game, a new The Walking Dead game, Shrek 2 Remastered, and there's even a mention of a canceled Avengers game from THQ.

At this point, it's unclear what the status of the games is, but given their listing on the Steam database, most of them haven't been canceled, and an official announcement may be coming soon.
