Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - Royal Edition Confirmed to Release on Switch 2 Next Year

The Nintendo Direct presentation is in full swing, and it’s focused on upcoming releases for the Switch 2. One of the announcements came from Warhorse Studios and concerns the developers’ game released last year, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, which will be coming to the Nintendo platform in its full version next year.

Warhorse has announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II – Royal Edition will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 next year, though an exact release date or window has not yet been disclosed. Along with the base game, the Royal Edition will include all previously released DLCs for Deliverance II, as well as various bonus content that will become available after launch.

The first Kingdom Come: Deliverance was released on the Nintendo Switch in 2024 and is also available on the Switch 2 thanks to backward compatibility. And now, with the announcement of the second entry, all owners will be able to fully immerse themselves in the Warhorse franchise.

It is known that the developers are officially working on a new installment in the Kingdom Come series, but it will not be Deliverance III. According to rumors, it is subtitled Salvation and may even include multiplayer elements. Warhorse has previously confirmed they intend to release the game by the end of March 2028.

Additionally, Warhorse Studios is also working on a new, expansive open-world RPG set in Middle-earth. No details regarding the story or gameplay, the release date, or the platforms have been revealed at this time.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II – Royal Edition will release on Switch 2 next year. The game is now available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
