Brazilian Retailer Revealed New Details About GTA 6—Map, Main Characters, Open World, Graphics, and Social Media
There's less than two weeks left until the premiere of Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, the new game presentation launching on Netflix before becoming publicly available elsewhere. Rockstar Games hasn't confirmed or even hinted at what to expect, but fans are fairly convinced this will be the first time gameplay from the most anticipated game of 2026 gets shown.
Meanwhile, Brazilian retailer MercadoLivre may have accidentally revealed some new GTA 6 details in the game's description, spotted by Reddit users. While the description doesn't reveal anything groundbreaking, it suggests players will be able to switch between Jason and Lucia during story missions and that the game will include a well-developed, realistic social media system. NPCs are also claimed to behave more naturally, and GTA 6 is expected to feature dynamic weather changes, along with advanced lighting and highly detailed environments.
The official Rockstar Games store on MercadoLivre, a retailer in Brazil, has an updated description of GTA VI
Jason and Lucia always knew the odds were stacked against them. But after a simple job goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in the United States, caught in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — and forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.
Game Features:
Bigger Map: Explore Vice City, beaches, swamps, small towns, and a variety of regions throughout Leonida.
Two Playable Protagonists: Switch between Jason and Lucia throughout the story and take part in missions together.
A More Dynamic Open World: NPCs with their own routines, random events, interactive businesses, and a greater sense of immersion.
Integrated Social Media: Watch viral videos, follow influencers, and discover events happening around the world through the in-game phone.
Next-Generation Graphics: Advanced lighting, dynamic weather, more natural animations, and highly detailed environments.
Rumors have also been surfacing that Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will consist of three episodes, more like a Netflix mini-series, with a combined runtime of around an hour total. That lines up with recent comments from Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, as well as an earlier leak suggesting the presentation would run around 20 minutes. However, Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive haven't made any official statement on this yet.
