Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe Possible DLC Details Revealed

Not long ago, well-known Ubisoft insider Rogue shared a bunch of new information about Assassin's Creed Codename Hexe —the next mainline game in the series, announced back in 2022. Along with fresh details about the game's open world and new gameplay features, he confirmed Codename Hexe is being eyed for a June release next year. He also revealed the price and multiple editions—but that's not all.

One of his posts on X, which initially flew under the radar, contains the first hints of DLC for Codename Hexe. Rogue pulled a piece from the game's source code referencing "Season_Pass_Wuerzburg_Expansion." It also looks like the game will feature costumes from 2025's Assassin's Creed Shadows, based on "hexe_coven_shadows_pack." This should still be taken with a grain of salt, since Ubisoft hasn't revealed much about Codename Hexe in a while—but Rogue has proven himself as a reliable insider. So it's reasonable to assume one of the DLCs will take players to Würzburg. Other details about the game’s Season Pass remain unknown.

In yesterday's statement, Rogue also confirmed earlier rumors that all magical elements had been cut from Codename Hexe. Additionally, the graphics would be a step up from Assassin's Creed Shadows, mentioned above. NPCs will also behave suspiciously around the main character, Anika, which could make getting around the world more difficult. The protagonist does have something up their sleeve, though—the fear system from the Jack the Ripper DLC featured Assassin's Creed Syndicate, which has also been improved.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft's recent release, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, continues to dominate in sales. According to updated data, the game has already generated over $35 million from the Steam version alone. It is currently available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
