Analysts conducted a study showing that the weekly player base for GTA 6 is expected to grow from around 870,000 to 1.3 million by launch. Applying standard multipliers, this translates to approximately $46 million in revenue. Such a start would indeed be extraordinary for the entire gaming industry—and it would certainly please Take-Two Interactive. Previously, it was assumed that the company aimed for GTA 6 to sell between 20 and 25 million copies on launch day to meet its expectations.
