Valor Mortis Confirmed to Release on September 24—Just Like Control Resonant and Silent Hill: Townfall

Last year, during the Gamescom gaming showcase, the studio One More Level—known for the Ghostrunner franchise—unveiled the debut trailer for their new project, Valor Mortis. This first-person action RPG, featuring soulslike elements, is set during the Napoleonic Wars. However, in this alternate timeline, the threat also comes from a supernatural plague.

Valor Mortis was one of the many games showcased during the Xbox Games Showcase presentation. The developers revealed a new trailer that introduced the game's storyline and featured fresh gameplay footage. Additionally, it was announced that the game will be released on September 24th—the same day titles like Control Resonant and Silent Hill: Townfall are launching. Alongside the announcement of the release date, One More Level also updated the demo version of the game, which is available on all platforms for players to try out. The developers fixed various technical issues and introduced a new level, additional weapons, new enemy types, and abilities.
