Clash of Clans is introducing a fresh type of community event in May 2026 with Clash vs Skeletons. This limited-time mode brings players together in a large-scale battle where they choose a side, earn stars, and fight back against a skeleton invasion. Along the way, players can unlock a variety of rewards, including free chests, a Legendary Hero Skin, and even a free scenery.

Event Overview

The event runs from May 4 to May 18, 2026, giving players about two weeks to participate. Upon entering, players must choose between Team Jade and Team Amethyst. This choice determines their position on the event map and rewards them with a themed decoration representing their team.

Both teams work across a shared map, progressing tile by tile while pushing back the skeleton forces. At the center lies the ultimate objective—a powerful skeleton base that both sides must defeat together.

How the Event Works

The event revolves around a large map made up of tiles, each requiring a certain number of stars to unlock. Some tiles simply advance progress, while others grant rewards or reveal hidden bonuses.

Players earn stars through multiplayer battles, and each star can be contributed to the event. For example, a three-star victory allows players to donate three stars. These stars can be used immediately or saved for later, depending on strategy.

Each team begins from opposite ends of the map and pushes forward by contributing stars. Some tiles contain guaranteed rewards, while others remain hidden until unlocked. To keep things dynamic, skeleton forces periodically reclaim tiles every 12 hours.

Reaching the center unlocks the final challenge—the skeleton base—which requires a large number of stars to defeat. Both teams contribute to this goal, meaning every player can help complete the event regardless of which side they chose.

Rewards

The event features both individual and community rewards:

• Legendary Barbarian King Skin – earned by donating 200 stars individually
• Classic Skeleton Scenery – unlocked for all participants once the final boss is defeated
• Event Map Rewards – including magic items and hidden bonuses

In addition, a parallel Supercell Store community event offers extra rewards, including a free Book of Building for reaching milestone goals.
