Actors Are Teasing Leon S. Kennedy and Ada Wong Reunion in Resident Evil Requiem DLC

Capcom is confirmed to be developing a story expansion to Resident Evil Requiem, the latest horror franchise installment and the studio’s recent massive hit. Although the details of DLC remain unknown for now, there are some speculations that Leon S. Kennedy will serve as the main character, with Ada Wong making an appearance.

A recent photo of the actors only serves to reinforce these rumors: on her Instagram, Lily Gao, who is the voice actor and motion capture actress for Ada Wong in Resident Evil 4 Remake, has posted a photo with Nick Apostolides—the voice actor of Leon S. Kennedy in the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4, and also in Resident Evil Requiem. Amid rumors of a possible reunion between their characters in Requiem, fans believe that this encounter is no coincidence.

Fans also believe that Ada Wong might be Leon S. Kennedy's wife, as the character was seen wearing a wedding ring in Resident Evil: Requiem. However, according to the recent research, more and more are convinced that Leon is married to Ashley Graham—the one he saved in Resident Evil 4—as Capcom hid the photo of the grown-up character in the game’s demo and then deleted it. If a DLC to Resident Evil Requiem is related to Leon, we will probably figure out who his mystery wife is.

Not long ago, Nick Apostolides teased that Resident Evil Requiem wasn’t the last appearance for Leon S. Kennedy, and a recent leak confirmed he will be involved in Resident Evil 10, just like other iconic characters—Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield—who will reportedly be fighting against Alex Wesker.

Capcom’s next Resident Evil project is heavily rumored to be the remake of 2000’s Resident Evil Code: Veronica. The announcement is expected for this year, and the studio is eyeing releasing the game in 2027.
