Fans May Have Discovered Who Leon S. Kennedy's Wife Is in the Resident Evil Franchise

At the end of Resident Evil Requiem, it’s been revealed that Leon S. Kennedy is wearing a wedding ring, which has sparked speculation about who his wife might be, given the vast number of potential candidates from the Resident Evil franchise.

Koshi Nakanishi, the director of Resident Evil Requiem, has also added fuel to the fire when he revealed that fans will soon find out who is the wife of Leon. At the same time, rumors have appeared that Ada Wong will be presented in the upcoming DLC to Requiem, and considering her relationship with Leon, she might be revealed as his wife. But a recent update related to cut content reveals the true identity of Leon S. Kennedy’s wife in Resident Evil universe.

X social media user nigkira noted that in the demo version of Resident Evil 4, Chainsaw Demo, released on March 10, 2023, there was a photo with the adult version of Ashley Graham—the daughter of the former USA president, who was saved by Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 4. What’s more curious is that Capcom removed the photo later (on March 24), in the final version of the demo, but you could still find it in Hunnigan’s office in free roam mode. The fan has done complete research, according to which Ashley Graham is the wife of Leon S. Kennedy, as you can check out below:

Before Resident Evil Requiem's release, we were racking our brains wondering why they needed a photo of an aged Ashley in her 40s for files, and why they tried so hard to hide it by deleting any content associated with it, but now it's all clear as day.

If rumors are true, and Leon S. Kennedy is indeed the protagonist of the recently confirmed story expansion for Resident Evil Requiem, it will probably give us the answer of who his wife is. Ashley Graham seems a logical choice considering their connection in Resident Evil 4 and the timeline order, as mentioned above. Although, it’s just a speculation at the moment.

Besides the DLC for Resident Evil Requiem, Capcom is also actively working on Resident Evil Code: Veronica Remake. The game is reportedly going to be directed by Kazunori Kadoi & Yasuhiro Anpo, the directors of Resident Evil 2: Remake and Resident Evil 4: Remake. The game is set to be officially confirmed this year and released in 2027.

Moreover, recently the first details of Resident Evil 10 were leaked. According to them, it will be the scariest installment in game series history and feature someone named Talia as the main character.
