Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Announcement Date Reportedly Revealed
Despite various rumors and reports from insiders, Ubisoft hasn’t revealed anything of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced—the long-awaited remake of 2013’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The game was finally confirmed last month, during Ubisoft’s blog about the future of the game series, with only concept art revealed.
During the latest Insider Gaming Weekly podcast, gaming insider Tom Henderson, who previously reported a lot about Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, shared that the game’s full announcement is scheduled for this month, and release will happen in summer. There is also another report, made by ResetEra user BlackBate; according to him, the official announcement of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is currently planned for April 16.
“Announcements planned to go live on the 16th and there is also an event taking place later this month. Release not that far away”
At this moment, Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed they will announce Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced next week; therefore, this report should be considered with a grain of salt.
Besides Black Flag Resynced, Ubisoft is also actively working on Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe—the next mainline game in the franchise, set during the 16th-century Witch Hunts of Germany—multiplayer Assassin’s Creed Codename Invictus, and mobile Assassin’s Creed Jade. Netflix is also producing a TV series based on the game series, set in Ancient Rome, with filming now underway.
