The fans must be very excited about the upcoming tenth installment, considering how good Resident Evil Requiem was. There are no details about the story of Resident Evil 10, but there are speculations that Leon S. Kennedy, one of the two main characters in Requiem, could be involved. In the recent interview with GamesRadar, the character’s voice actor, Nick Apostolides, confirmed Requiem wasn’t the end of Leon’s storyline, as you can check out below:

"They chose to partially center the story around Raccoon City. And if you're going to do that, you need to have certain characters come back,. You know, you need somebody to come back that Raccoon City really affected.

I think there'd just been so much momentum with Resident Evil 2 Remake and 4 Remake, his story, his arc. And they just wanted to, not complete it, but just continue that arc and find out where he is now in current day.”

The return of Leon S. Kennedy has been played well, in terms of his chemistry with other main character, Grace Ashcroft, and Capcom’s decision to come back to Raccoon City. Moreover, the ending of Resident Evil Requiem leaves the door open for Leon’s another appearance, although it’s not necessary that he will be a main character again in Resident Evil 10.

Except for Resident Evil 10, Capcom is also working on a story expansion for Requiem, where Leon S. Kennedy is likely to be a lead character, as well as the remakes of Resident Evil Code: Veronica and Resident Evil Zero, and the remake of the original Resident Evil.
