Deadzone: Rogue is a fast-paced first-person roguelite shooter set in space. Players must battle through armies of hostile machines, collect and combine upgrade modules, and create their own builds. The game can be played solo or in cooperative mode.

Gameplay features:

  • Battles take place aboard the ISS-X space station, invaded by drones, spider-like machines, and other mechanical enemies.
  • Players can explore different sectors of the station, from the engine room to the prison block.
  • The arsenal includes more than 30 weapons with elemental modifications: shotguns can unleash explosive blasts, machine guns can fire icy barrages, and rifles can turn into lightning weapons.
  • Up to three players can join forces in co-op, where tactical coordination and team synergy are crucial.

On Steam, the game has been received positively: 83% of nearly 8,000 reviews are favorable. Players praise the variety of weapons and enemies, as well as the flexible upgrade system. Co-op play is highlighted as one of the game’s strongest aspects, making the experience even more engaging.

However, some drawbacks have been noted. Issues include bugs with enemies shooting through walls or teleporting, unstable co-op sessions due to P2P connections, and limited roguelite mechanics. Players also mention repetitive music and incomplete weapon descriptions.
