Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra Launches September 9 on All Major Platforms

Bandai Namco has officially revealed that its upcoming MOBA, Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra, will release worldwide on September 9 for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game was first announced in August 2024 under the name Dragon Ball Project: Multi, followed by a regional beta the same month and a large-scale network test in June 2025.

A New Dragon Ball Experience: 4v4 Team Battles

Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra marks the franchise’s first step into the MOBA genre, combining iconic characters with fast-paced, team-based gameplay. Players join forces in 4v4 battles, working together to secure objectives, defeat enemies, and overpower rival teams.

As the match progresses, each hero levels up, unlocking new abilities and powerful skills to take down opponents and even massive boss enemies. Players can choose from three distinct roles:

• Damage – High-offense characters designed to unleash maximum pressure.
• Tank – Durable heroes built to absorb enemy attacks and protect allies.
• Technical – Versatile support fighters with utility and control abilities.

Each character comes with a unique moveset, making team composition and strategy key to victory.

Familiar Faces, Unique Styles

Fans will be able to play as beloved characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, and more, each equipped with their own special powers. Beyond combat, the game features an extensive customization system, allowing players to unlock skins, entrance animations, and cinematic finishing moves that add flair to every match.
