The Forever Winter: Early Access Launch Date and New Cinematic Trailer Revealed
The cooperative horror-shooter The Forever Winter, which features survival elements, is gearing up for its early access release. To celebrate the upcoming launch, the developers at Fun Dog Studios have dropped a brand-new trailer.
Set in a dark future, The Forever Winter takes place in a world devastated by ecological disaster. For the past 40 years, it has been ravaged by violent conflict between two superpowers, waged by relentless AI-controlled machines.
The cinematic trailer, which runs for five and a half minutes, showcases a mission where a team of heroes sets out to gather resources, only for things to go terribly wrong.
Players will need to fight for survival either solo or alongside friends, battling in the shadows of massive war machines that dominate the battlefield. Teamwork, sharp shooting, stealth, and quick thinking will be crucial for success.
The game offers both local and online co-op, unpredictable combat, four fully developed maps, and five characters available right from the start of early access. The developers have confirmed support for 11 languages.
The Forever Winter will enter early access on September 24, available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. The base version of the game will cost $27. Only cosmetic skins will be available for purchase, with no extra charges for additional content.
